Hooked on Words App Reviews

Different kinds of word games keeps it fresh. But some times it seems as if the board is all vowels and sometimes there are the same 2 vowels which makes the game less exciting.

Was looking for a new word game to hold my attention. Tried several. Even the first edition. But this one I cant stop trying to get that high score, thinking next game!!!!

I really like all the game variations - never get tired of playing. Ads are more annoying than is typical for a free game - more of them, noisier, running longer. Free has its price.

Its very addicting.

I think this game would be so much more fun if the game makers would have used real words with compound vowels. I believe that theyve limited the fun by limiting the word compositions. Its entertaining for a while until theres no way to level up to a real world word. I recently reinstalled the game on my phone and should be able to reinstall with an app purchase Ive already made, but it tells me the App Store is not available. But when I make like I want to purchase the App I have no problems repaying for the ad free version. Someone is not telling the truth here.

Really fun word games but you have to watch an ad after every game! Its too much!! Especially when you are playing a timed game its an ad a minute at that rate. Otherwise its fun.

The multiplayer mode is still having issues. Emails to support will not go through. The latest thing is that I cannot delete any old matches. Used to be able to swipe them off, but no luck. Seems like the game keeps freezing. Once, all my matches disappeared. Then, they returned but I cannot delete the ones I am not continuing. ???

Recent update and I havent been able to play since. This happens every time. I like the game but does me no good that I cant play it for long periods of time

This game is challenging, fun, and highly addictive. It is now my favorite app.

Game is a great pastime but the ads are a little crazy making.

My mom has loved playing this game and it has worked well for the past couple years. However, in the last week or so whenever she tries to play it the screen goes black. We tried updating, deleting, and re downloading. Nothing works!

12/21/16 still my go to game! So addicted. 7/4/16 all bugs seem fixed now. Addictive! Thank you. 5/28/16 Read their update comments. We can remove ads in their Word Store. My bad. Installed update today: noisy ads are back :( I bought it as the game is so much fun. Remove the ads that I paid to eliminate. Thank you. Addictive so bought full version. Worth it! So hooked! Time flies by. Worth buying to stop ads.

Dont like this as much, and angry that I paid to remove ads and they are back!

Helps you to improve your vocabulary and find new words you didnt think existed. Enjoy

Enjoy playing the game, but its more fun when I play in airplane mode, or with wifi turned off on iPad. Then I can play as long as I want, no ads. Fun.

This game eases me when I am frustrated. It improves my vocabulary. Well sort of. We need real words for the youth such as myself. We just need correct words. We do not need grade schoolers being taught these words. Leaving my review with four stars. Although besides that I believe that you should get this app.

I love it. Except for the long video ads in between games.
